This part should be about me, well it is but look at " About My Match" first because that's more important.
I am a widower and its my first time on a dating site so its a bit of a learning experience for me but I thought I would give it a try if for no other reason than to see what type of woman uses this type of site,,, for me its simple it's direct and it's straight to the point.I am not into playing games messing people around or being messed around, neither am I into the club scene or noisy pubs or trawling around looking for dates. I love to socialise and eat out go for a drink or entertain friends with some good conversation and a glass of wine.
I have been in the military for nearly 30 years so I am fairly well established here and its home for me and will be for a while yet a month at most. I keep fit but I am not a gym robot and age is just a number I don't look, feel or dress like I am my age but at the same time I am stylish and not trying to recapture my youth either,,,,, if you know what I mean, the hair is thinner and a little greyer but even I can't stop that. I love to travel and I love to cook and I am learning a lot about nutrition and well being so I look after myself and value my health and fitness. I am adventurous and like the outdoor life so, quite adept at most things.
I am passionate and the things that are important to me are trust, respect and fidelity. I am not into second guessing and mind games I prefer openness and honesty. I put family, partner and friends first, I am charitable and generous but within reason and on my terms.
My interests are wide and varied but that wasn't an option in the list :)
Ultimately I am looking for someone that I can share my life with in the long term in a lasting relationship, it doesn't have to mean marriage but it could.
